Monument Valley Overview Print
Sandstone buttes cover a red-sand desert in this overview composition of Monument Valley. The light is dappled from the shifting clouds. The sun is low in the sky creating long shadows along the valley floor on the right sides of the buttes. There is patchy green vegetation growing on the desert floor creating a pleasant color contrast with the shades of red and tan of the sandstone. Beyond the buttes are puffy clouds and a soft blue sky.
